Overview

Sales Development are responsible for finding, qualifying, and generating new customers to drive continued sales growth. This position qualifies for base salary plus commissions.

A Sales Development teammate is:

  • A self-starter
  • Highly motivated
  • Possess strong sales skills
  • Can identify and develop new customers
  • Can identify and develop new business from existing customers

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business
  • Contact prospective customers to solicit appropriate services based on customer’s needs. Answer service, pricing, and credit terms questions
  • Manage and direct customer experience through entire COGISTICS Transportation LLC team to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Continue relations and business with existing customers while maintaining ongoing support and problem resolution
  • Negotiate pricing and finalize services contracts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional phone skills
  • Confident decision-making skills
  • Bilingual/Multilingual not required but a plus
